LATENT HACKS

TEAM

Latent Hacks is built at the intersection of 30 years of aesthetic research and the AI generation.

01 — FOUNDER

Ryan Guo

Founder & Director
Latent Hacks

Ryan Guo, 15, is the founder of Latent Hacks — a global youth open call and curated exhibition of interactive AI works. He initiated Latent Hacks to build a public pipeline where the next generation can demonstrate that taste doesn't wait for age.

At 15, he has built a project with rigorous academic foundations, global open call infrastructure, and fiscal sponsorship through Hack Club (HCB), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Latent Hacks is where his generation answers the question his father spent 30 years asking.

02 — ACADEMIC ADVISOR

Dr. Change

Prof. Yi-Cheng Guo
Academic Advisor,
Latent Hacks

Credentials

  • Professor & Graduate Supervisor, Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA)
  • Ph.D. in Philosophy (Aesthetics), Peking University
  • Originator of Aesthetic Intelligence (美力) and AQ

Dr. Change is the theoretical architect behind AQ — the evaluative lens used throughout Latent Hacks. Over 30 years of research, he has built the academic foundation upon which Latent Hacks operates.

In 1996 he founded the first internet-based cultural platform in the Chinese-speaking world. In 2007 he published Aesthetic Wealth. He later established the Cultural IP Studio at CAFA, extending his research into institutional practice.

AQ, the evaluative lens used throughout Latent Hacks, is his life's work.

Latent Hacks sits at the intersection of 30 years of aesthetic research and the AI generation. We did not invent this question. We inherited it.
